Dinglewell School is a very fond memory of many happy school days and I'm pleased to see that it is still thriving, especially as I hope to send my daughter there in the not too distant future! I'm quite sure that I would not be where I am today if it wasn't for the solid foundation I was given at Dinglewell. Dinglewell was the best school around in my day - I'm pretty sure it still is now!

My daughter Harriet has just begun her reception year. I can not believe how fast she is learning to read, and I've never heard her tell me so many exciting things she has done,(although she says we play have snack, play have lunch and play), she must really be enjoying herself. Thank you to Mrs Palmer & Mrs Higgingbotham for taking care of my little one.

I am at the moment very far from home in the Gulf but have great pleasure in reading through your website knowing that my son Kieron is not only having fun but also learning at the same time while I am away. Its hit and miss when I can access the phone or the internet but this site just makes home seem so close to me. Hopefully will be able to restart the school run again soon.

To Mrs Gleich, | |
| Adam Shotbolt | 08 November 2001 00:00:00 |
I am in Miss Hills' class and she is a very nice teacher. I like Mrs Woolcock as well. My mummy went to Dinglewell and she remembers lots of teachers. Her favourite teachers were Mrs Nicklin and Mrs Long. Miss Lee was really nice but she left and Mrs Nicklin took her place. She had a horrible teacher called Miss Casseretto who used to smack the children and tell them horrible stories that weren't true. I'm glad you don't smack us. Mummy was at Dinglewell in 1969 so she was there before it opened!! My auntie and uncle are older than her and they were there too, in 1967 and 1968. Mummy said the head teacher was called Mrs Morris and she was really nice.

I'm now in year 2 and i have enjoyed looking at the web site with my mum. My mum read out the comments which was quite funny because some children are in my class. Both my mummy and daddy went to Dinglewell which they say hasn't changed a bit. My mummy was in class 6 she said her teachers wasn't as nice as Mrs Thomas (i was in class 6). Bye for now see you all tomorrow.

I finally found the website after searching ofsted's site, the DfEE's site and many others, and it was certainly worth all the searching. A very informative site detailing comprehensively the school and all associated with it. The internet is an invaluable source of information and it has been put to good use here. Congratulations! Best wishes, Adam Osborne

I have been asked by our headmaster to evalute schools.ik.com's offer to create a web site for our school. Yours is great but I wonder if you could let me know of any plusses orhurdles you had to overcome. Also, in your events section, you tell people to get in contact with a PTA member for more details. How do they know who to ask? I've just leafleted all of our parents telling them they're automatically members so they should get involved. It's a great site and has given me some good ideas. Best Regards - a mum in West Yorkshire
