Class Parent Worships - Date Changes
The following Class Parent Worships have had to be changed. Please alter your diaries
accordingly:-
Class 3 will be on Friday 12th May
Class 2 will be on Friday 19th May
Class 6 will be Friday 23rd June
Class 4 will be Friday 7th July
Money
When sending money into school it would be helpful if the following information is written on the outside of the envelope:
Child's name
Child's class
Reason eg 'Trip', 'Dinner Money' etc
Childminders
The secretaries are often asked if they know of any local childminders. We have a list but it is very out of date. If you are a local childminder please give your name and contact details to the office as soon as possible so that the list can be updated.
Musical Concert
Mrs Kerr is organising a joint, Infant and Junior School Concert for Friday 7th July at 6.30 pm in the Infant hall. Year 2 children will be playing their recorders and violins, the Choir will be singing and the Year 1 Music Club will be performing. Tickets will be available nearer the time.
Activity Area / Trim Trail
With the advent of warm sunny weather
families will be lingering in the playground
before and after school. Please ensure you keep all children away from the Trim Trail as it is not supervised by the staff at these times.
Conservation Area
Good progress is being made on the revamping of the Conservation Area. Many thanks to Mrs Bews, Mrs Palmer and the parents who have offered to help. The pond already has frogs, newts and tadpoles in it. If anyone else finds they have time to help please let Mrs Palmer know as soon as possible.
Enduroindia
Ian Aspey, the school's photographer successfully completed his sponsored motorcycle ride across India. Ian came home relatively unscathed but 2 stones lighter and Barnaby Bear came back with a sore head having been jolted off of the bike on several occasions. Ian has given the school a lovely photographic
record of his trip.
Sponsored Event
As usual the school is having a sponsored event this year. In recent years this has been a sponsored skipathon but this year we have decided to have a change.
This year we will be having a Sponsored Keep Fit on Thursday 25th May at 9.30 am.
Further details and sponsor forms will be sent out shortly - look out for them and get all your relatives, friends and neighbours to sponsor your child. The money raised will be split between the school and our nominated charity, The Pied Piper Appeal.
REMINDER
Could all children please bring a waterproof coat into school each day as a fleece is not adequate in wet weather.
REMINDER
Summer Fair

Please remind your child if you have put something in their Book Bag to be given to their teacher eg Dinner Money, reply slips, letters etc
